What's the best way to cover up?

I am 31 years old and my entire life I have fought a battle with acne that is mostly on my chin, neck and jaw line. I often have a hard time finding a way to cover up this acne. When I do, it usually just barely covers the red and you can still see the acne very well. Also, I have an issue with sweating and can't seem to find a foundation that doesn't run off easily. I am curious as to what kind of products would do a very good job of completely covering my acne instead of just covering the redness surrounding it. Also, long lasting products that aren't going to wash away quickly so that I can feel confident in the face of a big meeting or date. Thank you!
