What should I use in summers : liquid foundation or a compact powder?

I really don't like going out in summers. I also suffer from suntan. I have tanning on my forehead and back. If you have to go out then you need to look good also. But in summers putting on the makeup is a pain. Sometimes I use liquid foundation but then sweating becomes so much. At times I use compact powder but it cannot give me that sheer clean look.
