I do recommend you try various brands till you settle on the one that suits your skin. In general, the larger, national brands are usually more sheer (don't cover as much) and a little shiny. Most smaller companies vary... with some offering really thick coverage and a matte finish, some giving a very soft, sheer look, and then every possibility in between that you can imagine.
