Some people apply thick layers for extra coverage, while others simply dust on a light layer for sheer coverage. This just depends upon your needs. There is no right or wrong answer, really. The brand you use also depends upon your personal preference. I have tried the Bare Minerals brand and the quality was excellent, but it just didn't cover enough for my acne / oily type skin. It was also a little shiny for me. Actually, that is why I created my brand: Mineral Basics. It has a more satin (almost matte) texture and offers great coverage. But this is up to you. There are hundreds of brands and thousands of sellers out there, so I recommend trying samples and finding the best company for you, whomever they may be.
