Host a Makeup Party and Rake in the Cash!

Hosting a makeup party is one of many ways to make money selling mineral makeup or traditional makeup.

It is SO much fun!

I'll outline the simple steps:

**Send out invitations to all your girlfriends and female family members.

**Choose your makeup brand. Of course you have to have MAKEUP at a MAKEUP PARTY!! Mineral makeup is so great for this type of party, because it is so inexpensive to buy wholesale, can be packaged in various ways, allows for great profit margin, and is versatile.

Do an internet search for terms like: wholesale mineral makeup or mineral makeup wholesale and you'll find multiple companies to buy wholesale, bulk mineral makeup from.

Start out with smaller sizes for just a party. 1 oz or 2 oz per chosen shade will be fine.

You'll need several foundation colors, ranging from light to dark, or whatever the skin colors of your friends will be.

One to two blush shades or bronzer shades...a finishing powder or two... several eye colors, like browns, creams and any other colors you think your friends would like... and perhaps a concealer in light and medium.

Buy small sample jars and prepare a tester kit for each person, OR a full size tester kit that everybody can use.

You'll need a brush for each person for the foundation, (preferably a kabuki brush. You can buy just one and have everybody share it, or buy one for each person. Smaller, baby kabukis are great for this.

Also, you might consider offering each person a disposable brush set that includes eye, cheek, and lip brushes.

**Give every friend a small party favor bag filled with makeup goodies! Samples of each color, instructions for ordering, small brushes, lip balm, skin cream samples, etc. Ideas for cute party favors include: chinese take out boxes, pillow boxes, organza bags, etc. You can get these at your local craft store or order online.

**Buy Supplies. Once you know your theme and general food items, make purchases at least one to two days beforehand so you don't get rushed at the last minute.

Have everything prepared early in the day... your decorations, soft music, finger food, etc.

**Once everybody begins to arrive, you'll need cozy spots for each of them to settle in.

You'll need a way for them to remove their makeup, so they can start fresh and apply full-face makeup.

**Start by giving a general mineral makeup application method, and allow each to try.

This is the fun part! Each person can try on foundation or blush or eye colors, or all of them!

Play games and see who can create the craziest, funnest makeup look!!

Remember to give instructions on how to order if they choose to. They can simply tell you, or have cute little cards made that they can fill out.

You can either have full size jars prepared in advance, or take their orders and deliver them later. Whichever you have time and money for.

**The whole atmosphere of your party should be calm, serene, soothing, safe and mostly, fun!

Mineral makeup essentially sells itself, so you'll have loads of orders, massive enjoyment and will already be planning your NEXT makeup party!
