I Understand!
by: Chandi

Living in a hot, humid climate, I understand what you're saying! I also have oily skin.

1. Yes, mineral makeup really does work. In fact, it is the only makeup that I know of that really stands up in the heat and humidity. I recommend getting a formula that has clay in it, (you might prefer to use a loose powder concealer all over as your foundation, instead of just a foundation), OR use a regular mineral foundation powder, then apply a loose powder finisher that has clay or arrowroot powder in it. I never need to reapply during the day, but if you should need to, you could always carry a refillable brush with you during the day, filled with your setting powder. Mineral makeup is excellent for not running, dripping or smearing off your face. You can swim, exercise and sweat and still look beautiful.

2. Sure... I got ya. Mineral makeup contains only the necessary ingredients needed for perfect coverage and adhesion. None of that "other" junk that might break your skin out. No, no , no. It really is great for all skin types, including people with acne and oily skin in that it won't irritate your skin or break it out further. It is the only type of makeup I can use.

Make sure the brand you are getting only contains a few ingredients (about 5 or 6). More than that and they are just filling up the bottle with unnecessary fillers. I do NOT recommend getting drug store brands as they just don't cover well and are loaded with chemical ingredients. I use Mineral Basics foundation mixed with the Light Complete Cover, but search till you find the brand you like.

3. Although everyone's skin is different, you shouldn't have any problems with mineral makeup. I don't know of anybody that "can't" use it. It is really so pure and simple that it works on all skin tones, types and textures. Even those with sensitive skin LOVE it.
