Fairy makeup is so much fun and so easy to achieve!

You just need the correct makeup and a cute little costume and you'll be a flirty fairy in no time!

You can really have fun with this and create all types of looks, honestly. I recommend that your makeup matches your outfit. So choose your outfit first and then buy your makeup to match. That will be easiest.

I recommend using mineral makeup because you don't have to worry about face breakouts or applying chemical-laden makeup to your face.... Ewww!! As much as is possible, stick with more natural products like mineral makeup.

Things to keep in mind:

• Use pastels and keep things light and airy
• It is great to use sparkles, glitter, shimmery makeup or other makeups that resemble fairy dust
• Focus on creating beautiful, hypnotic eyes
• Use color! Don't be afraid to mix and match various colors. They should all go with your outfit, however.
• Go lighter on the lips... keep the lips soft and subtle. A good, moist pink lipstick works great
• You can be any color fairy, but popular shades include: pink, lavender, yellow, mint green and pale blue
• Sprinkle dust on your neck, chest and shoulders for an ethereal look

You can use a gel glitter, mineral dusting powder or any other shimmer powder, really. Other fun ideas include drawing leaves, vines or flowers on your face usingcostume makeup, using flower or butterfly fake tattoos on your arms or legs, wrapping vines or flower garlands around your wrists or ankles or using garlands as necklaces.

Then you simply slip into your outfit, do your hair and you are good to go! A great way to do your hair is to use a curling iron and make ringlets all over. Then pin up all the curls and sprinkle glitter into your hair.

If your hair won't curl, just leave it straight, but at least pin it back or up, to give yourself a cute look.You can also put little butterflies, dragonflies or flower clips into your hair or clip them onto your outfit.
