Eye Makeup 2: Liquid Eyeliner

Here is me using Maybelline New York's Colossal Mascara & Maybelline New York's Liquid Waterproof Eyeliner.

Hi everyone, it's Kat. I'm back for another review, but this time it's about eyeliner.

My number one tip is never use pencil eyeliner; it won't last the whole day, & it will smudge.
I always use Maybelline New York's Liquid Waterproof Eyeliner in black ($8).

Know how when you do your eyeliner you move your bottom eye lid down? (If you don't do this, try it.) Well, when you use liquid eyeliner, wait about 30 seconds for the eyeliner to dry, then let your bottom eye lid go.

You do this so your liquid eyeliner doesn't get in your eyeball, which will cause it to irritate &/or turn red.

If you wait 30 seconds, you won't get any eyeliner in your eyes or maybe just a bit.

BUT, here's the thing: anytime you do eye makeup, use q-tips. That is my technique & it works great!

So if some gets in your eye, just take your bottom eye lid & move it down a bit, get your q-tip & just swab it out (it will NOT hurt, just make sure you're not poking your pupil).

That's it! You'll be left with an eyeliner that lasts all day & you'll be left smudge-free. (Just make sure not to rub your eyes, as that would cause it to smudge obviously.)

To get liquid eyeliner off? I take a shower every night, and I just close my eyes & rub soap on them, rinse them, and then I take my finger & try to smudge the rest out, and then just clean around my eyes. Hope you guys liked this technique.
